I'm not sure about you, but I find veins and arteries a totally fascinating topic. For years they endlessly pump and return blood to our hearts and other organs and very rarely blink. Obviously at some stage they think "nah, I've had enough" but that can take a century. So, I've done a veins drawing/painting.

When I was younger, I was obsessed with The Lion King. I hated the follow up movies, but the original was like gold dust to me. Even now, I cannot watch Mufasa's death... it upsets me too much. (I know I really should get a grip!) So here is my drawing of Simba from the Lion King.

This is my Irish Red and White Setter called Oscar. He will be four years old in September and he also has epilepsy. In between fits and seizures he is like an ordinary dog with so much love and character running through him. When he is unwell though, he doesn't really want to know anyone or dogs - which makes us sad too.
I took the picture that this art is based on about a year ago and have used a digital program to give it some light effects.
By the way he isn't listening to music, he just likes to be involved in everything I do, which at the time was listening to music. So turned the music off, and put the headphones on him. He was as happy as larry!!

A while back I headed over to Bali and Singapore for a two week break. It was honestly the best two weeks of my life. In both countries I learnt new things that I never thought were possible. It was really eye opening. Now onto my Monkey art.....
In Bali, there is a monkey sanctuary that is unique from anything else I've ever seen. There are no cages, the monkey's are just allowed to roam around and if anything us humans play second fiddle to them! Whilst there I sat down on a wall with a bottle of water and a monkey run up to me and stole my bottle of water, run off and drank it! You just accept it though because it is so amazing.
The way the monkeys pose you would think they were about to star in TOWIE or a glamour mag. They just sit there and wait for you to take pictures, which is where this close up picture came from.
